We are looking for Molecular Genetics Business Development Specialist to join the Life Science team!

Molecular Genetics Business Development Specialist
Your responsibilities
- Become the customer expert for the MammaTyper® & PQS
- Support existing OSNA breast customers and develop OSNA gynae studies
- Develop and build the commercial customer base to include additional buying sites
- Administer & deliver customer training courses when and where required
- Provide ongoing training, care and support for the customer base when required (remote & field)
- Maintain high customer competency
- Efficient management of customer queries & complaints, including other stakeholders as required
- Maintain competency to support the Molecular Genetics Portfolio in both clinical and laboratory environments
- Attend meetings/calls with SEU & manufacturers - collecting/disseminating market information as required, supporting business cases & marketing initiatives
- Create and update documentation relating to product, training, installation, SOPs & regulatory issues if required
- Ensure adherence to that documentation
- Forecast/product supply, field safety notices, Minerva reports
- Create sales activity plans for MammaTyper®
- Research and develop new commercial & study opportunities for MammaTyper® and PQS across UK and Ireland
- Meet and present to potential customers to showcase the capability of MammaTyper® & PQS
- Manage new and existing customer business including the ongoing relationship and sales of tests
- Complete quotations when required
- Report business development and sales activities on a monthly basis
- Organise and attend conferences and educational seminars
- Maintain control of the finances associated with these events, with director support where required
- Determine success criteria
- Monitor and audit, reporting when required
- Deal with regulatory issues as priority within strict timeframes; communicate & record data as detailed in process & conduct full investigations if required
- As well as a number of other responsibilities.
Your profile
- BSc (Hons) Degree in Molecular Biology OR EQUIVALENT KNOWLEDGE IN SUBJECT APPROPRIATE TO ROLE
- Clinical and/or laboratory experience
- MIN 3 YRS EXPERIENCE IN A COMMERCIAL ROLE SELLING MOLECULAR BIOMARKER/GENETICS/LIFESCIENCE PRODUCTS
- Hands on experience with PCR & NGS
- FULL DRIVING LICENSE
- Training Qualifications
- ABILITY TO READ & UNDERSTAND SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE
- GOOD COMMUNICATOR/NEGOTIATOR
