We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Logistics team.
This role is to assist the Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Manager to provide our current and expanding customer base an industry logistical service. The successful applicant must perform their job functions in line with the company expectations and act as ambassadors for the company in all aspects of their work. Although workload is typically based around instrument sales, and customer demand, the successful applicant must be self-motivated, creative and self-managing. Additionally the candidate must have a good eye for accuracy and detail, be consistent, adaptable, friendly, enthusiastic, methodical, confident and passionate in their job, with good emotional intelligence to build relationships with both with customers and colleagues alike.
Warehouse Operative
- Pick & pack and arrange the dispatch of goods
- Book inbound goods and put away within the KPI target
- Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales and requirements.
- Work with the team for stock accuracy target of 99% and traceability in the SAP ERP system
- Maintain a safe working environment and reporting hazards
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as and when required in a timely manner.
- Create customs invoices and complete post goods issue.
- A Levels, ONC, City & Guilds level 3, BTec National Diploma Level 3, IVQ Technician Diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience of working within a warehouse and distribution environment.
- Fork Lift Reach Truck operating license
- Good IT skills around Microsoft Office suite of products
- Attention to details
- Good organizational skills
The successful applicant will be based in Milton Keynes or surrounding areas, due to the role being based within our Logistics building.
